Who writes Graftpassage, and how
Graftpassage is a small, independent guide to hair transplants abroad. It is written from published sources, it is not reviewed by a clinician, and it takes no money from clinics, agencies or booking platforms.
Graftpassage exists because many of the pages that rank for "hair transplant Turkey" are written by people who earn from your booking: clinics, agencies, booking platforms paid by clinics, and "top 10" lists that clinics pay to appear in. We wanted a guide that does the opposite: puts the safety checks first, names its sources, and has nothing to sell you at the end.
How this site is written
Every page is written from published sources, which we read and date. Those sources are mainly government travel and health guidance (the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, GOV.UK, the NHS, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, the Turkish Ministry of Health's health tourism pages, national medical registers, and peer-reviewed papers where one exists. When the only figure available comes from a company with a stake, such as a booking platform, we say who produced it next to the number.
When we cannot confirm something at its source, we leave it out. That is why some pages say plainly that we found no verified price, or that a government page blocked our requests. A gap is more honest than a guess.
No clinician has reviewed this site
Graftpassage is not reviewed by a doctor, surgeon, dermatologist or any other clinician. Nobody on the site is medically qualified, and we do not claim otherwise anywhere, including in the code search engines read. Every procedure page carries a note saying so, near the top, because it matters: this site can help you prepare questions for a doctor, and it cannot replace one.
Why we name no clinic
We do not name, rank or review clinics or surgeons. A clinic ranking needs evidence about results that no one publishes in a form we could check, and most rankings in this market are paid for. Instead, we give you the method: who to ask about, which registers to search, and what to get in writing. It works for any clinic, in any country.
How the site is paid for
At the moment, Graftpassage earns nothing. It carries no affiliate links, no advertising and no referral deals with clinics, agencies or platforms. If that ever changes, the affiliate disclosure will say so before any link appears, and it lists the offers we have already turned down.
Corrections
If you find a fact on this site that is wrong or out of date, tell us through the contact page. We re-read the source, correct the page if needed, and change the date we record against the fact.
