Thailand, India and Dubai each have an official register where you can check a doctor for free. What we could verify for each, what we could not, and the questions that apply everywhere.
A hair transplant abroad is a medical decision with a travel booking attached, and most of the pages written about it get that the wrong way round. They lead with the hotel, the transfers and the price, and bury the questions that decide your safety. Graftpassage puts those questions first: who will perform the surgical steps on you, whether the facility is on the official list, what happens after you fly home, and what the package leaves out.
What we check, and where the facts come from
Every fact on this site comes from a source we read and dated, and we leave out what we could not confirm. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office's Turkey advice, the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, the Turkish Ministry of Health's health tourism lists, the NHS and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are the backbone. Where the only price figures come from a market-research firm or a platform paid by clinics, we say so next to the number.
Start with our main guide to a hair transplant in Turkey, then read the breakdown of Turkey hair transplant cost before comparing quotes.
What we will not do
We will not name, rank or review clinics or surgeons, and we will not take money from them. We do not collect enquiries or pass your details to anyone; there is no form on this site. We do not show before-and-after photos or promise results, because nobody can honestly promise how grafts will grow. And we are not doctors: nothing here has been reviewed by a clinician, and nothing here replaces one.
Where to begin
If you have not yet seen a doctor about your hair loss, begin there. A GP or dermatologist at home can tell you what kind of hair loss you have and whether surgery makes sense at all, and that appointment earns this site nothing. If you have, and you are weighing up a trip, our guide on how to vet a hair transplant clinic abroad is the checklist to keep open while you read the quotes.
